Harrop Lake Outcamp is a 5 cabin housekeeping facility that can accommodate groups ranging from 2-24 people. The camp was at one time an American Plan resort and as a result is not what you expect when you think of an outpost. Five private fully modern cabins and hospitable camp hosts are just a couple of the many surprises that await guests. Our camp hosts can arrange for American plan meal service by advance request, or provide special cookouts or barbecues for housekeeping group guests. All this at an outpost price.

Fishing is easy at Harrop Lake. It's so easy you will be spoiled. The lake has excellent flow, three tributaries coming in and two leaving. It is not difficult to find a spot within minutes of the camp where the moving water seems to be funneling the Walleye towards your boat, or where several big Pike are jockeying for the cover of a weed bed.

On Harrop Lake you can fish trophy Northern Pike and Walleye without wasting valuable fishing time traveling. A 53.5" (136cm) pike caught and released was hooked just 150 yards (137m) from the dock.

Harrop Lake camp is unique in the sport fishing industry. The camp offers amenities and services usually found only at American Plan resorts - a float plane only accessible location, boat caches, and accommodations for large & small groups, families, or corporate retreats.

Five separate cabins with total capacity of 24 people. Full kitchens with electric fridge/freezers and gas stoves. Central shower house and washrooms. The kitchens are fully equipped with all pots, pans, etc. The cabins are nestled in the shade provided by pine and poplar trees on a protected point of Precambrian Shield granite. Capacity: 24 people.

14' Lund boats with 9.9 h.p. Yamaha motors. We supply life cushions & jackets (large & extra large only), lander nets, swivel seats, anchors, paddles and mixed gas. Portage lakes are available.

Guests staying at Harrop Lake Outcamp will drive from Winnipeg to the float facility in Pine Dock, Manitoba (2.5 hours) followed by a direct float plane ride to the outpost.

• The cabin is located on the north east shoreline with a southern exposure.
• There are a propane BBQ and propane fish cooker.
• Walleye average 17"-24" (43-61cm) and Northern Pike average 27"-40" (69-102cm), with many master anglers.
• There is a diesel generator for 110 volt electicity.
• There is a wood stove, and propane heaters, for heat with ample firewood provided.
• There is radio communication to our base camp.

• Pillows and light blankets are provided. Please bring your own sheets and sleeping bags.
• Canned goods (potatoes, beans, corn, fruit), paper goods, and cleaning supplies are also provided.
• Maximum weight allowed per person is 90 lbs. Excess baggage will be charged $1.50 per lb. subject to space available.
• Rates do not include food or beverages and are in US funds.
