Thunderbird's fly-in flights from Pine Dock, Manitoba greatly reduced the cost of wilderness fishing to the average wage earner. The major costs of fly-in fishing entail the number of miles to be flown. Thus, Thunderbird Lodge & Outposts offer a series of packages and accommodations which can be tailored to a variety of incomes and budgets.

Fishing - All Outcamps

Guests will drive from Winnipeg to the float facility in Pine Dock, Manitoba (2.5 hours) followed by a direct float plane ride to the outpost.

Hunting - Black Bear

Spring hunts take place from mid May until June 4th. Fall hunts start late August and end September 15th. Each hunt is 7 days and consists of a great fishing trip as well. Hunts are from tree stands over baits. Taxidermy preparation is included in the price. Air Charter from Pine Dock return is included. All taxes and licenses are included.

NOTE: A $1500.00 non-refundable deposit per person is required. Prices are per person and quoted in US funds.

Hunting - Moose

Moose hunts start in late September and run two weeks. Each hunt is a 7 day hunt. The hunt takes place around prime rut. These hunts are all inclusive which includes round trip air charter from Pine Dock. All Taxidermy preparation is included in the price. All taxes and licenses are included in the prices.
